Let's celebrate a wonderful year in style.....

By the beautiful waters of Rose Bay at Catalina's.

It has become a tradition in my house, that a birthday means you get to go out for a fancy meal at a special location. This year I finally experienced the magnificent, delicious, beautiful CATALINA'S.

My Birthday Feast included


Poached Marron Tail, Blood Orange, Aioli and vegetables.

Crispy skin Barramundi with Spanner Crab ravioli, Enoki mushroom, avruga, sage and eschalot cream.

Pavlova with lime curd, strawberries and strawberry sorbet.


All were AMAZING! Marron is one of those items I just can't go past on a menu, since going to a Marron Farm on Kangaroo Island. Delicious! Perfectly cooked. They were perfect portion sizes that you could eat all these courses and walk out comfortably.
